about (english)
Who’s Isa ?
Isabella Losada De Armas, from Caracas, and chef.
A long time ago: used to be a journalist, in her hometown, home country. Then: decided to leave for France and learn cuisine at The Bocuse Institute. Had to train hard: la Mère Brazier (Lyon), the Ritz Carlton (Barcelona) and eventually Paris with Ducasse’s Il Cortile, Nobu, Babalu, Bon.
Time to go further & be a chef: first in pretty parisian Pure Café, then headed to Médoc : catering for famous vineyards, diplomacy & consulting abroad.
At last: Eat Intuition, her restaurant, & the freedom to implement whatever ideas cross her mind.
Miscellaneous: photo fan, loves fun, excitement, travelling, long-distance calls and music. Feels she has to do some sport –doesn’t mean that she will.
Who’s the other one ?
Florence Hertgen, business partner & vocational teacher.
Her role is quite hard to define ; teacher, speaks both English&French, though sometimes reluctant to please. Rather spends hours reading, doing nothing, daydreaming, café-au-lait drinking, not to forget travelling & writing little pieces and notes on small papers she tends to pack and store before loosing their tracks.
She’s an idealist, not indeed famous for her devotion to -what ? no useless artifacts, & that’s it. Stops sometimes wondering and rather thinks, perhaps, Yeah-I-should-quit-smoking-because she hasn’t yet. Sometimes does not even give it a thought, and heads back : finds it actually very hard to compromise.
Some people yet think she’s funny.
